  • Prior to forming Stratford, Scott spent sixteen years as an Executive Managing Director with HFF (now JLL), one of the country's largest real estate investment banking organizations. There he oversaw and directly participated in over $30 billion of real estate transactions. During his tenure, Scott served on the firm’s Operating Committee and facilitated the creation of the Los Angeles and San Francisco debt and equity platforms. Scott was also instrumental in the formation of the private equity affiliate, HFF Securities, holding the position of Principal at the broker/dealer.

    As an agent and owner, Scott has approximately $3 billion of hospitality experience. Asset classes include: hotels, restaurants, marinas, golf courses, food & beverage outlets and water parks. The structures have incorporated sales, financings, joint ventures, formations of discretionary and non-discretionary funds, sale of real estate operating companies, as well as mezzanine and preferred equity/debt hybrids.

    Prior to joining HFF, Scott was a Partner with The Parmenter Company, responsible for the accumulation, financial management and disposition of the real estate portfolios of high net-worth families. Previously, Scott was part of the NCNB Texas Special Asset Bank (predecessor to AMRESCO) serving as an asset manager for a multi-billion dollar portfolio as a SAMDA contractor to the RTC. Scott started his career at Citicorp Investment Bank in NYC.

    Scott is a graduate of Duke University and a member the Young President's Organization. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and their two children.

  • Jan Redrupp brings more than twenty years of strategic leadership and operations experience in the hospitality and entertainment arena. After a successful stint with Dubai Holding where he led development of the world's most ambitious tourism project, he co-founded Stratford Hospitality. During his time in Dubai, he led the negotiations team that built strategic partnerships with five internationally renowned brands. He also managed the design and development team for six theme parks and eight hotels - a total investment value of more than $8 billion.

    For more than a decade prior, Jan held significant leadership positions within the Walt Disney Company. As the company's youngest general manager in Paris, he headed union negotiations for theme parks and resorts. After relocating to the US in 2000, he became general manager of Disney's All-Star Resort - a 5,760 room, full-service resort that produced $150 million in annual NOI. Jan was quickly promoted to manage operations at Disney's Hollywood Studios - the world's fifth largest theme park with over eight million annual visitors and $350 million in NOI.

    Jan's extensive knowledge and experience in resort hospitality began in 1990, when he started his career with Club Med and helped managed twelve luxury resorts across three continents.

    Jan holds a degree in German and a minor in Political Science from Furman University in South Carolina. He is fluent in French, German and English - making him a proven and successful negotiator and partner across cultural lines.

  • Dana’s experience spans multiple cycles and includes principal ownership, capital market transactions, senior operational management, and consulting involvement with over 1,268 hotels valued at USD $17 billion.

    In 2009 Dana identified the hidden asset value in publicly-traded Lodgian (AMX:LGN, 27 hotels, 5,200 rooms, 3,200 employees and $200+ million in revenues), raised $142 million from a private equity firm (Lone Star), and privatized LGN becoming this troubled company’s 8th CEO/President in 10 years. Dana’s turnaround strategic, operations, repositioning/rebranding and capital plans resulted in a Net Operating Income increase of 33% above prior year, a 49% IRR (internal rate of return), and $150+ Million in profit.

    Prior to privatizing Lodgian, Dana led one of four teams at Hodges Ward Elliott, and helped propel HWE to a consistent 30%+ market share for large hotel transactions. Ultimately Dana sold or financed 242 hotels with over 53,500 rooms, totaling $8.1 billion, and was awarded the Superstar Investment Sales Broker of the year award by Real Estate Forum.

    Dana has co-authored the 600–page Hotel Investments Handbook, and has been published or featured in over 35 magazines and newspapers including Real Estate Review, Real Estate Finance Journal, National Real Estate Investor. Mr. Ciraldo has been a frequent speaker at universities and national hospitality investment conferences (such as ALIS, NYU, Meet the Money).

    Previously Dana was President and Managing Director of HVS Financial Services, EVP of HVS (Hospitality Valuation Services) providing consulting services on 700 hotels valued at $8 billion, President of McKinley Management Group (restaurants) and has also held a variety of hospitality industry property management positions, including General Manager.

    Dana is a former MAI, CRE, CHA and holds a B.S. degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Dana lives in Florida and is married with three children.

  • Jasmin began her career in the entertainment industry, managing the offices for ABC Productions and MBST Entertainment. After twelve years in entertainment, Jasmin joined the Los Angeles office of HFF in 1998 as the Office Manager and Production Coordinator. Jasmin played an active role in decisions relating to the operations of the office and oversaw a staff of analysts and administrative personnel. She left HFF in late 2009.

    As a founding member of Stratford Hospitality, Jasmin serves as Director of Operations and is responsible for all back office functions of the firm. Jasmin holds a degree in Business Administration from Cal State Los Angeles.

    Jasmin and her husband, Dean, reside in Los Angeles with their two dogs.
